Norm and all,
I agree with you completely.. the Nauticat is a wonderful cruiser and
liveaboard boat! Although my Nauticat is quite a bit smaller than
Bandersnatch, it's a perfect size for the two of us and our 50 lb. dog! We
love our Nauticat 33... 'they' say the 33 has the same sq. footage of living
space that most 38 foot sailboats have. Someday we may upgrade to the
Nauticat 44, but for now the 33 is just perfect!
We may loose a bit of sailing performance with the pilothouse, but we find
we motor-sail most of the time and the 85 hp. Lehman can move us comfortably
at 8 knots.
Thanks, Norm, for mentioning the Nauticat. If we end up in the same area
sometime, we'd welcome you and Jan aboard to show you the interior!
