If it is anything like their water seal, it isn't a very long lasting
product.
If you want to try a good home brew, mix mineral spirits with linseed oil in
a 50/50 or thinner ratio and apply in warm dry weather, you can apply
multiple coats, it will soak in and harden to a very durable sealed finish
that won't need to be removed, it will naturally dry out in a few years and
be ready for a touch up.
