I have a Lofrans Tiger "on the deck" model 1000W, in my Maxi 95 (32´) for 10
years.
This is a "no problem" situation working with a CQR 35 Lb. and 90 m (8¢)
calibrated chain for all these years. If i had to buy now a windlass i should
definitely go for the same brand (and maybe 1200W or 1500W, for heavier anchor
or 10´ chain). Anyway more power does not make any harm.
When i install my one, it was only 1000W available in that model.
