    Steve,

I have not any experience with the CRC product but have been using the LPS
1,2, and 3 for years. Anything will work, it is usually a matter of for how
long, so it's how often must your reapply.

Just to whet your appetite, today Jan and I are lying in Bucksport, SC, a
picture postcard anchorage. It is a tiny village deeply imbedded in a
wildlife refuge. There is fuel and overnight dockage, a friendly little
restaurant, and a homey general store with wonderful breakfast sausage and
exquisite Blenheim ginger ale, from the worlds smallest bottling plant. The
whole place is owned by Mr. Legrand Weaver, a true southern gentleman who
used to run heavy equipment, mainly marine pile driving and draglines. Now
he is mostly retired while his sons run the big machines. So he tends the
store, watches over the landing, and knows 'most every customer by name.

During the day Bubbas buzz about in bass boats, or lower their electric
trolling motors to fish the banks. Birds call to each other and dragonflies
patrol. Osprey nests with new eggs are everywhere. Fish jump with a flash of
silver. Breezes rustle the cypress trees. Spanish moss sways seductively.

At night there are no sounds made by humans; only the original forest
occupants stir. Frogs call to each other, insects hum and chirp,
occasionally a bird sends its voice echoing into the darkness. The river
gurgles softly as it caresses our ship.

In the mists of early morning, sipping coffee on deck, one would not be
startled to see Indians quietly paddling their canoe along the water's edge.

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
    All mimsy were the borogroves,
      And the mome raths outgrabe,

    The Bandersnatch is at home...

Having visited many beautiful places from Miami to Norfolk aboard our
splendid ship, we can truly say that the upper Waccamaw River is the most
splendid of all. We have been looking forward to being here for months and
will stay for at least a week. We've also discovered a magnificent secluded
spot off the ICW that has plenty of depth, swinging room and beauty, but
we're not telling anyone where it is!
