    At first look, I'd say you've got a short. Disconnect both batteries
    and see if the problem goes away. If it doesn't, then check the wires
    going from the batt. charger to the batteries and find the short. If it
    does, hook each of them up on at a time. On or the other should fail in
    the same way. I'm surprised something hasn't caught on fire or burned
    up. This is interesting. Tell us what the outcome was.
