Along the lines of multi-gang connectors, does anyone know of any
connectors - other than amphinol (I'm not sure how to spell that one!)
connectors which I could use to splice my autopilot cable? The cable
between the drive motor and control head is an 8-wire cable. The autopilot
is the old model Navico (now Simrad) W5000. Currently that cable stays in a
loose pile on the cockpit sole like a small pile of spaghetti and I'm tired
of tripping over it and want to run it under the deck. But since the cable
is permanently attached on each end (the Control Head and the Drive Motor) I
can't do it without cutting the cable at some point.
