If you install a stern pole mount the dome should be high enough so that
even on deck handling the main down, you still won't get zapped in the head.
Don't forget that the beam depth isn't that much...only a few degrees. The
number of 3 or 4 degrees comes to mind but I could be wrong. In any event,
a reasonably high pole mount will place that beam above your head. On the
other hand, if you unstep the mast and mount it above the spreaders (or an
equilivant location on the B&R rig) you'll get a better over the horizon
view.
