My boat and dinghy are registered in Florida, about $15/year.
I have numbers on my dink because we use it so much to travel about in, but I
see many tenders that are just used to go from ship to shore that only have
the T/T designation on them.
I read somewhere that the water cops will let the T/T pass if you are
encountered only between the boat and the dock which, because of the size of
your dink, is what you will probably be doing.
I have seen plenty of both oared and motored T/T tenders at the dinghy dock.
