    My boat and dinghy are registered in Florida, about $15/year.

    I have numbers on my dink because we use it so much to travel about in, but I
    see many tenders that are just used to go from ship to shore that only have
    the T/T designation on them.

    I read somewhere that the water cops will let the T/T pass if you are
    encountered only between the boat and the dock which, because of the size of
    your dink, is what you will probably be doing.

    I have seen plenty of both oared and motored T/T tenders at the dinghy dock.
