Probably slightly off-topic but it is a sincere enquiry. If anyone would
know, I'm guessing one of you listers will...
Do ship's captains still marry people at sea? This couple feels that their
vows would be more meaningful if married at sea; they feel more of tie to
the waters than to some plastic chapel in Vegas or elsewhere. They want to
avoid aligning with any particular religion, but if it has to be a
chaplain, so be it, but a captain is preferred.
No wedding party with a cast of hundreds, either. Just the "bride and
groom" and officiant, darn limited others, if any.
Any information appreciated.
