    I once raced Orient (of Baruna/Orient=Barient fame) from Mazatlan to San
    Diego, going to weather in a trimaran. I think the year was'71?, right
    after Nixon was elected... Beat their asses flat.
    Only time I was ever scared in a boat, either... Hit some serious bad
    weather, and floating in the air on one ama, while looking down a 60'
    trough, made the idea that these tri's were more stable upside down than
    right side up, took on a very personal meaning.
