Dump the idea of 6v batts. That's old news. Trojan makes really great deep
cycle 12v batteries! I've got 4 SC225's on board. They give me 520 Ahrs
for a foot print not much larger than 4 6v t-105s Leace the golf cart
batteries in the golf carts. The SC225s are True marine batteries based on
Grp 30 case sizing. You'll never regret it if you go this way. Plus there
are fewer inter connects to deal with. If 1 battery goes bad, just pull it
out and you still have a decent bank size.
I've got mine set up as 2 sets of 2 batteries with a paralleling switch.
That way I can isolate 1 set while I work on them.
Also if you co this way. Leave the bank paralleled most of the time. It's
better for the overall life of the batteries if they are in 1 large bank
opposed to alternating between 2 banks.
Pierre.
