hanks to all who responded to my query about AGM batteries. My summary of
the responses is:
1. Almost everyone (but not all) who has them likes them and will buy them
again.
2. Small charging systems may not be able to take advantage of their
rapid-charging capabilities.
3. In some systems, they may charge slower than lead-acid batteries.
4. They have not been in use long enough to determine durability and
longevity under normal cruising conditions.
5. They may not win over golf cart batteries on a strictly economic basis.
