I didn't happen to see the remarks Deborah referred to but I agree with her that people who cannot act like civil adults should be warned once, or maybe twice, and them taken off the list. I know there is concern about censorship, but what she's talking about isn't censorship it's just plain common courtesy. A normally intelligent adult, especially when using a written media like e-mail, should be able to disagree, even strongly disagree, without resorting to being offensive.
What do the other members of the list think...?

After we censor everyone, can we burn all the books too...! (why, Hell, we can always shoot 'em - why stop with censorship...) I'm beginning to have visions of arm bands, swastikas, and secret police...
