While I agree with the original poster that this list has gotten more than a
bit carried away, I can't agree with the blasting against Norm.
I rarely, if ever, agree with some of his ranting but you know what? From
what I gather from his posts I would strongly suspect that if you had a
problem and Norm was nearby, he'd be the first to come over to lend a hand.
I've never met him so I don't know why I think that but I'm fairly sure that
would be the case. He does contribute much and he's a good guy to have on
our side (liveaboard/cruiser perspective, that is).
I do have filters for a few that I find obnoxious - Norm isn't one of them
because, while sometimes in that catagory, he actually contributes with
useful knowledge and information. He's been there and done that.
