I agree with Jay on purchasing a quality power supply. The power supply
is just converting the AC back to DC which got me thinking a while back
that you could just run your PC components straight off your house
banks, no inverters and subsequent efficiency losses. I did some web
searching and found that this has been done by some audiophiles who want
a computer in their car to play mpg3s. So, here are some links to
