    Mike,

    I put up panels of styrofoam ranging from 3" to 1" thick on the inside of my
    hull attaching it with "Great Stuff" urethane foam by putting a bead around
    the perimeter and an "X" across the face. Ten years later when I removed
    some it to do some work in that area the inside surface of the hull was
    pristine, exactly as it was when I first installed the Styrofoam.
