If anyone has been having the same trouble booking rooms in A/C for the show
weekend and found everything sold out or only available at top end pricing,
I found and booked myself in to the Clarion Hotel on Black Horse Pike in
West Atlantic City @ $39/night. They're (according to them) 2-1/2 miles
from the Convention Center.
I don't know if they still have availability but you might want to try
looking at West Atlantic City for other hotels/motels.
